About Sophie Imas

Having moved frequently as a child (spreading her time mainly between Russia and Canada), Sophie Imas was exposed to a variety of  musical influences and developed an independent and self-reliant streak which today converge in  her own work. Sophie Imas blends raw and emotional lyrics with  rhythmic acoustic guitar to produce a compelling and unique sound. Her goal is to give people the necessary tools, emotional release and stories to  empower them to heal and move on with their lives; to gain inner freedom.

She has played Jacob’s Ladder Festival in Israel and is now based in a village on the Meditteranean island of Cyprus where she is building her music career and a healing center.  In 2018, Sophie did a soft-release of her song “Cold” which picked up national media attention. 

Sophie plans to release a series of singles throughout 2021 that will culminate in a 6-song EP titled I Feel Alive. The first single Numb, will be released in May 2021.
